Daniel Amado Perez is the first American to receive a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt from 5x Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and ADCC Champion Demian Maia. Demian Maia is also a former UFC middle weight title contender and currently ranked amongst the top ten Welterweight mixed martial artists in the world.

Over the course of his studies Daniel has trained with some of greatest Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters to ever practice their respective arts. He is known for his incredibly detailed technical instruction and the ease with which he can breakdown, demonstrate, and apply the concepts and techniques of Jiu-Jitsu. Daniel is a former standout mixed martial artist, and has many Brazilian jiu-jitsu and competitive grappling titles.

He is not only a decorated competitor in the sport aspects of fighting, but Daniel has also previously been certified in non-violent crisis prevention and intervention and has had many students who are both current and former members of the armed forces and law enforcement. Daniel also possesses an educational background in psychology and education and has experience working with children and adolescents who suffer from mental, physical, and emotional, conditions.
